Sheena Lee Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)
I enjoy working with a wide variety of individuals from age 12 and up
Having worked with individuals and families through the transitions of pregnancy and childbirth for over a decade, I have seen people discover they have more strength than they thought they had and find new perspectives and connections to themselves and others. The process is similar to the inward journey that counselling invites us to walk.
My practice is rooted in a trauma-informed, client-centered, and collaborative approach. I aim to create a safe and compassionate space, where you will feel seen and heard, a place where you will find and/or nurture your own inner strength and resilience.
What amazes me is the array of people I get to have conversations with each day. From teenagers who are trying to figure out where they fit in the world, to first responders prioritizing their mental health so they can remain in their chosen careers. I work with survivors of sexual abuse, and people who are struggling with anxiety or just feel stuck in their lives.
I cannot say enough how much of an honour I feel each day to have people feel safe enough to open up and share with me. I get to see the strength and resilience in each and every person I meet, which gives me a wonderful perspective on my own life.
